Workshop Location
Conference Facilities:
The workshop will take place in the main building of the
Academy of Athens. It is located 300 meters from the Syntagma Square.
The
conference hall of the Academy has a capacity of about 150 attendants,
i.e. twice the expected number of workshop participants. It is a finely
decorated hall in one of the historical buildings of Athens that has
been characterized as a monument of classical architecture. It is used
to host the assemblies of the Academy members and other events organized
by the Academy. The headquarters building has a special room for coffee
breaks and the conference hall is equipped with overhead, slide and
video projectors as well as with audio equipment.

Venizelos International Airport:
The new Athens
International Airport is located 27 km northeast of Athens and
can be rapidly accessed via a six-lane motorway and public transport -
express airport bus on a 24 h basis - from Athens center and the port of
Piraeus.
There is an Express Bus Line (E95) connecting the Airport with
the Center of Athens, arriving at Syntagma Square (see the map
- 213K Jpeg image).

near to the center.
